Let the Teens Manage Their Money PDF Print E-mail
Written by junels
The teens want to have their own money. Teens want to have discretionary funds they can use without their parents poking at them and auditing all their cents. If the parents would let their teenagers manage their own money, they should be ready to give them advises on money management such as budgeting and fund management. In this way, they can be sure that their teens will not just squander their money on less important things.

The following may help the teens manage their money:

Teach the teens to save

Encourage the teens to open a savings account to deposit their earnings. Even just a few dollars a week will be good enough. If their parents are giving them allowances, they can talk to them and ask them to set aside some dollars in the bank. When the time comes that they need to withdraw, they will be amazed to see how much money they have saved. The teens want to have money and let them save.

Teens must spend wisely

The biggest nightmare among the teens is to wake up with nothing to spend, yet the next allowance is still a few days away. They will be forced to borrow and this will only add more problems. Spending wisely is a must especially to those with tight budget. If the school is just a walking distance, they should be happy to take a walk and enjoy that needed exercise. Need to go dating? Why not ask their crushes to have a chat with them in the park, this way they don’t need to spend much. A can of soda could do the trick. The teens want to have money and let them spend wisely.

Introduce the teens to fund management

There are many plans of fund management that are available to teens. With a few dollars, the teens can have the opportunity to increase their money under the watchful eyes of money experts. This will also add pride to the teens for having invested money like what the grownups did. In addition, requiring them to pay taxes out of their investment will make the teens contributors to the national coffers. The teens want to know the rudiments of fund management and let them know.

Common Vaccine Threatens Children PDF Print E-mail
Written by Shane Ellison
You can’t read a newspaper without learning about the vaccine controversy. On one hand, “the benefits outweigh the risks.” On the other, “a single jab stole the life from little Johnny in a matter of two days.” What’s going on, “Should I let the doctor stab my kid with the needle or is he better off skipping that “checkup?” This is the question my wife and I had with our daughter regarding the DTaP vaccine. Working as a chemist within the halls of Big Pharma, I learned some shocking revelations.

The pertussis vaccine, administered via the DTP or DTaP vaccine, does in fact increase antibodies to pertussis (Bordetella). Yet, immunity is short lived. The Journal of the American Medical Association, showed that immunity declines by 50% between 1 month and 1 year after vaccination. After this period, the response is weakened or non-existent. Natural exposure to pertussis increases antibodies too, but better and usually for life. This explains is why during outbreaks, the majority of those who suffer from pertussis are the same ones who got stabbed with the so-called vaccine.

Still, many health professionals advocate the use of the vaccine by asserting that the decline in pertussis over the last 100 years is attributed to the pertussis vaccination. This is false. Pertussis rates plummeted by 79% between 1900-1935. The pertussis vaccine was not introduced until 1940. A math lesson is helpful here.

Because the pertussis vaccine provides little benefit, does it make sense to expose children to the negative side effects associated with it? In a presentation to the Institute of Medicine, published in 1990, the public was informed of the following dangers:

- babies die at a rate 7 times greater than normal within 3 days of receiving the shot

- side effects include asthma and other auto-immune disorders

- encephalitis, leading to permanent behavioral changes such as lack of focus and poor problem solving skills can result as well.
